Our roots in the stone business run deep. Founded by Mark Arban in 1963 in a modest one-car garage in Alexandria, Virginia, our legacy spans generations. For Mark, precast stone was more than a business—it was a family tradition, with his father, grandfather, and great-grandfather all involved in stone manufacturing in Italy and Germany. Mark's early years were spent learning the trade in his father's precast stone business, before starting his own venture. Over the years, his business flourished, culminating in the expansion of our operations with the construction of our plant in Dumfries, Virginia. In 2001, Mark passed the reins of management and ownership to his son-in-law, Allen Macey, ushering in a new era of prosperity. With over two decades as president, Allen has steered the company to continued success, with the next generation—his children—now joining the ranks.
